There are many other market towns nearby all steeped in history accessible by car, local bus services and rail (The Heart of Wales Line is one of the most scenic railway journeys in the UK). Shropshire is the perfect get away destination whatever the weather. There is plenty to do and each season has it’s own distinctive beauty.
