The Baron at Bucknell Country Inn is now permanently closed as a bar and restaurant.

The Inn is being converted into a residential house. We plan to re-open the garden rooms in the Spring 2024 as luxury stacations with Debra’s delicious food delivered to your room. More details soon.

Bucknell is just off the A4113 Ludlow to Knighton Road. 5 miles east of Knighton. 12 miles west of Ludlow. On entering the village of Bucknell, Follow the the Brown signs for “Baron Country Inn.

By Train
Bucknell is on the Heart of Wales line.
The regular Manchester to Cardiff service calls at Craven Arms where you can change onto the Heart of Wales Line which runs from Shrewsbury to Swansea and stops at Bucknell.
