We stayed in one of the garden rooms long mynd it was an amazing place, very high standard, Bed excellent and so comfortable, TV, bathroom and hot tub all excellent. Went to Ludlow which was great as was the surrounding countryside. We would recommend staying here to anyone and will be back soon.

Only a 1 night B&B stay, but will certainly be a place to head for if spending more time in the area in the future. Very well refurbished premises in a very pleasant setting. Our room was excellent, with fresh decor and quality furnishings and fittings. Really nice breakfast – home made marmalade was excellent.

All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Second stay at the Barron, this time in the garden room and it was fantastic. The bed was amazingly comfortable and everything about the room was stylish and glamorous. It rained all day so our walking plans were replaced by a day watching sheep and birds from the jacuzzi. The restaurant food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return.

I found this the most relaxing hotel stay I have had. We were made to feel very welcome, our rooms were spotless and very pleasant. The breakfasts were ample, delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the fruit salad and homemade granola but the cooked meals were delicious. We ate in the restaurant every evening of our stay and every meal we had was delicious. My son is vegan and they were able to offer a good choice of meals for him too. Debra and Phil and their staff were helpful and made us feel very comfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Baron last weekend travelling to attend a funeral. We have only great things to say about it, our room was spotlessly clean, food was excellent and so was the service. The owners and staff work tirelessly to maintain such high standards for their guests, so much so we have booked again for September to experience the garden rooms. We would thoroughly recommend the Baron, it is in a charming village surrounded by outstandingly beautiful countryside. Can’t wait to go back.

Without doubt one of the best equipped & presented rooms we have stayed in. The food & staff were first class. And all at what I would say was exceptional value. There is little doubt that we will be returning.

“ACCOMODATION WITH A WOW FACTOR” We have been to this lovely family run pub a few times now and have never been dissapointed with great food and very friendly & helpful staff. We decided that for my birthday (1st June). We booked one of their new bed & breakfast Garden Bedrooms, it was a wonderful experience, each garden room being fitted out to a very high standard. Each has a large comfortable bed which you can watch your 55″ television from or sit on a comfortable setee watching it in front of a log effect gas fire, it has a large shower/wet room, underfloor heating and a ceiling fan if required. The views are stunning and look even better when you are sitting in your very own hot tub outside on the decking with a glass of bubbly overlooking a natural swimming pool. The room was well equiped with tea, coffee home made biscuits, robes, slippers hairdryer etc. We enjoyed the first night so much we stayed a 2nd night enjoying lovely food for breakfast and from the varied menu on both nights. It was a wonderful 5 star experience which we will definately be experiencing again.

We loved our stay in the brand new garden rooms. Beautiful views, lovely luxurious accommodation. Such a relaxing and unique little break with the pond swimming and the jacuzzi at night. We love coffee and that coffee machine was fantastic. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well. The food at the pub was delicious and friendly staff. What more could you ask for. We didn’t want to leave.

We have stayed here a number of times, always beautifully clean and welcoming, food consistently very good, brilliant desserts! Being set in a lovely part of the country is a bonus.
